Kids in other country

  

 

Today we were learning about kids and other country. I decided to do a boy in Fiji called Lesi. he's got a small town and 100 people in his Village. There are more pigs and chickens than people in his Village.
There's one tiny shop in the village and they all have to collaborate to split all the food around his Village.

I enjoyed doing the voice recorder and linking the picture. I also enjoyed taking the screenshots and editing it.I also enjoy watching the videos and throughout all the videos I watch I picked Fiji but they actually showed you inside the house. In the house was a bunch of cool pictures and I also enjoy those pictures.

I found doing the voice recorder challenging because I kept getting my sentence are wrong and wrong and wrong. I also found challenging going back and forwards and insert a image insert a image. 

Today I was a self manager and a research for the linking and searching on google managing what I need to work.

Next time I might to something else like Indones,Honduras,Malawi or Philippines. And I should see what school they go to on sunday.

Explanation DLO [digital learning object]

 

Today we were learning to do a explanation DLO [digital learning object]. Explanation writing is where you explain how to do something or why something happens.  We got to pick out of a few questions that involved a life cycle, I chose "what causes lightning". The things we needed to do were, research about what are question was, a plan of our writing, a diagram and our writing.

I found researching my information easy because there was a site for people that need  information for lightning. I also found it easy to write out my writing because I had already found a lot of information.

I found it hard to create my diagram on google drawings because we had to make it completely from scratch but I know a way how to do it, for example I made the ice crystals from the second part of the diagram from using x's an putting them in different positions.

I enjoyed this because I like to research and I have to research what causes lightning. I also liked how I you could play around with some of the cool tools we could use.

My learning asit is a researcher which is choosing the right source of information needed.

Next time I should add more detail and be more specific. Maybe choose another object like how to make chocolate instead i chose what causes lightning.
